Web 2.0 Backlinks Content Question

Hey guys, wanted to ask really quick, when getting content for my web 2.0 should I try to optimize those articles for the same keywords that I want to rank my money site with? Or I should just do similar topic articles, with other keywords or no keyword optimization at all, just for link?

Rank similar keywords with low competiton and search volume.

Ideally try to target long tail of some of your keywords. Some super low competition. That will provide bigger boost than merely having an article within the same niche.

absolutely agree! Try to find long term search terms and try to rank the web 2.0 blogs for these terms. Then add a nice and prominent link to your website.
This was you get traffic redirected to your website and you get a link from a relevant and ranking website

Be in the same niche and try to rank the Web 2.0 articles for low comp keywords something around 50-100 mo they searches as nobody would target them.

and why not use that long tail keyword in the moneysite article?? you ould get a chance to rank both sites that way
