    Hi,

Just wondering, now while there is some software that is be sold here that can find expired Web 2.0 properties, then do you think it is worth it at all?

Do you think Web 2.0 properties have the same authority as an expired authority domain?

    What's your thoughts?

    Hey dude,

An expired web 2.0 domain could have the same authority as an authority domain...but it's unlikely because you're comparing it to an expired authority domain (the clue is in the name). You would expect an expired authority domain to have a better backlink profile than a web 2.0.

For either an expired 2.0 or domain though you need to do your due diligence and check the backlink profile - make sure it's spam free and ideally has links from other authority sites.

As far as I'm aware there's no magic software that will find these domains for you. You either pay for them, from sites like hushushdomains, use a BST here, manually review freshdrop or expired domains or write your own crawler to do it for you.

I highly suggest you read the entirety of this thread before making any decisions as your question seems to indicate you don't fully grasp the concept of PBNs just yet: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...thing-about-how-i-build-manage-rank-pbns.html

    Cheers

Most of the good expired web 2.0s are old Tumblr blogs and they have PR because of the sky high number of internal links that flow through Tumblr. They are worth something but not as much as a standalone expired domain. They are cheaper though and can make for good tier 1 or tier 2 sites depending on your preference.

Expired web 2.0s cannot match expired domains in terms of ranking power/link juice. Also, with expired domains, you have control over the domains and can do as you wish with them. Expired web 2.0s on the other hand are not truly yours as you can lose them if you violate the terms of the web 2.0 sites.
