OK here's my cool idea.

Every month we put all of our active users names in to a hat, or a program of some sort. This program would pick out a random username and that user will have won that months lottery.

How would we generate lottery money? We would all take 5 minutes, and each and every one of us would fill out a CPA survey offer for the winning user. There's like 10,00 active users. That's $20,000. All just like that. Of course 10,000 people wouldn't participate, but if we could get like 500 members the winning user would have $1,000 for that month.

Be cool to promote the forum, get some anticipation going, motivate people, and it could really help out the right person? It would be run by the mods I guess.

I have zero success rate with unlocking a survey file.

BHW doesn't allow to throw money to lazy people. It's against even the freebies section rule.
 
I think this is a good idea but legal considerations will have to be taken in mind as well. This might be not allowed in some countries and BHW has members from different countries. Will wait to see what the mods have to say about this ?

Ok. Everyone wants to do good deeds nowadays, here's your chance. +1 for people who need it. But what if the person is just lying lol?
 
I like the idea purely for the sport.

I have no doubt theres legal issues unless its hosted off the forum

I dont have any moral issue with where the money goes. Cash money or shoes for homeless kids all good to me.

All you need for the legalities is a disclaimer that limits any liabilities to BHW.

How would they get the list of names of active users?

I think maybe the $3 ticket may also be a good idea. BHW could contribute a certain percentage into the pot or even match it.

People are going to start setting up bots and making niche methods based on how to have better chances at winning the BHW monthly lottery.
 
Maybe you could make a website based around your idea. You get lots of people with nothing better to do to fill in surveys with the chance of winning half the income every month, and you pocket the other half.
 
It would be a good way to boost activity if you had a forum that was struggling to take off.

Hold a monthly lottery. Doesnt have to be for cash could be for vip membership etc. An entry into the monthly lottery is 1 Credit. Every 25 posts you make you get 1 Credit so if you post 200 times a month you get 8 entries into the lottery.

Not suggesting it for BHW, I mean for start up forums with 25 members that need a kick into life.

It wouldn't be BHW if they didn't.

But in all seriousness, I think the best option is the $3-$5 ticket because not everyone is using offers/surveys. The purchase of the ticket also helps deter people from using multiple accounts.

The only real issue I see is people either using multiple accounts to get more votes in. The best way to eliminate that would be to hold the lottery only for the Jr.Vips. I know it kind of sucks for everyone else, but it's $97 for a Jr.Vip, a strong deterrent because people aren't just going to pay $97 just to get an extra vote in a $3-$5 lottery.


For the yellow members, we can hold a lottery as well, but instead of cash, give them a Jr.Vip membership.

How about this? Do something similar to what you are suggesting but instead of just handing that money to them use that money to pay vendors on BHW to set up and SEO a money making niche site for that member.

It would allow for good case studies and potentially earn the "winner" a long time return and give them something to continue to work on. It can be based around any number of methods that are posted here every day and we can see the results of those efforts. This way the "winner" isnt the only one to get value from this program.
