Since we are self employed and really can easily chose how much money to get.
I was wondering how much you were happy with and aimed for compared to how 9-5 jobs pay.

I'm very young but I'm happy with my highly educated parents income combined and that should be my income. Why? Because I thought out of the box and don't work for a boss so in return I should get more.
I'll be happy once I reach $800+ steadily.

    It'll come soon.

But I just set a deal with my parents to pay for heating and electric stuff. No more than that because I want to safe and build up money.

    I won't be happy till I'm earning $20k a month.

    Agreed.
So lets say its my first goal.

I really feel good now after cranking the music up and taking some heavy action. I sense some much more income coming.

I agree with that. Satisfaction equals death when money is the topic. I will be happy when I made like 3000k (In Argentina that number is very good), but I will be never satisfied, always looking for more :)

In my opinion the idea is to never settle or become complacent with what you're currently earning. The minute that happens is when you lose the battle. There are always more income streams to explore, the hardest part is keeping yourself motivated to earn even more once you have reached that $1k mark or whatever your individual goal is.

It's always good to set the bar high so you never face that problem :)

I don't know about "happy with", but I believe in setting goals to shoot for.

I think the following are perfectly fine and reasonable:

    1. $3,000 a month ($100 a day)
    2. $15,000 a month ($500 a day)
    3. $30,000 a month ($1,000 a day)

    Longer term goals:
    4. $100,000 a month
    5. .... more. lol

So yeah, in effect, once you start making, you just keep wanting more and more. Realistically though, enough that all your bills are paid, you have spare cash for emergencies and to have fun with, and you can just chill and ENJOY yourself should make anyone "happy". :D

no dude, your going to need to look at the make money section
adsense in my opinion is not the best way to go, unless you have some already popular website.

Do some craigslist and such, you'll at least earn more than 12 cents.

you dont... took whatever earned you 30 and find out how to
automate it, to earn you more... u have to invest to make money
u can earn money out of nothing thats a lie its a lie....
they invested their time.. reading, ask them to tell u and put
a dollar amount on the hours... and then tell them ud pay them minimum wage
for every hour... ask them how much money they invested...

nothing is for free, but something works... dont u think its atleast worth it
to invest in something that makes u money?

i am just happy if i reach my goal. Once i reach it, i set new goal and make plan, for next goal. I am in 4 figures/m income right now, and setting 5 figures in next 3 months. And i try to break 6 figures 15 months from now. The hardest part of my making money online journey was making my first sale.

This is true, I've recently hit my goal of getting back to $1k days consistently for the last two months and I am very very very happy with it. I am actually grateful for my income.

But for me, business is a game. I want to continually break the next barrier, be a better business person, help more people (by hiring more employees) earn more cash to invest, start new ventures and just continually make good cash to save and invest. But with my current spending habits of around $1k a month (sans traveling) lol I can easily live with my income now and buy stuff. But i'm stingy :D

I try to still be me. Commute, not spend too much cash, don't buy extravagantly, so i'll probably continue what i have been doing the past 2 years. Save the money, pay the bills and reinvest. :)

Yeah I agree. I think I'm an addict. I crave higher and higher numbers on the bottom line each month. LOL. Not a horrible addiction from my point of view.

I'm not sure what my monetary goal is. But I'm aiming to live very comfortably. I'd like to surf and workout everyday and not worry about money. To me time and living life is valuable. Consequently the more money I get the more I can live and get more time. I guess I have to find a balance.

So I think if I could get about $50,000 a month set up on auto pilot this would be better for me than if I had to stay on top of my game marketing game and work daily for $100,000 a month.
