Ways to monetize a dedicated server

Hi guys,

I am just about to fork out for a dedicated high power server in Europe and wanted to get some ideas on some interesting ways for running it

I am going to be using it from emailing mainly but what other ways could I use to generate a profit - anyone got any cool out of the box ideas?

Xrumer service? Game hosting service? Torrents?

You can try setting up your own hosting network... I used to have one.

For what you recomended: Xrumer, Game hosting, Torrents - you need to be specially skilled in that to really monetize.

You can try getting the box and uploading LOTS of torrents to public domains from private ones. And set up a forum etc for support, or recruit uploaders.

Depends on the dedicated server. Just put all of your websites on it. Email from it (setup reverse DNS and SPF records). Go to main email places like gmail, yahoo, aol, ect. and request to be on their whitelist. Just email PROPERLY!!!! And you will be okay! Don't be a retarded nub and spam from it.

If you are worried about just putting up a site on the dedicated for an xrumer service, then you will never monetize the dedicated server. 1 site wont even take up 1% of the resources unless it is freakin huge. What a waste.

I run about 15 websites off my dedicated server. Including 1 that has over 10k members, handles affiliate tracking, banner rotation, landing pages, weekly conferences. And it still has tons of room!
