Hey, so 2 days ago I composed an article on my website, I gave some solutions to a very common problem, it is a helpful article and at the end of the article I promoted a clickbank product that is related to the problem that I was helping people to solve.

I included my keyword in the article ~15-16 times, the article is ~800 words long. I've built some backlinks in Yahoo, reddit, facebook, youtube and a few other forums.

How do I get more traffic to that article? I am currently using reddit and facebook groups but it is not enough.

How long will it take for my article to appear on search engines? How long does it usually take to rank your article for the first page of google?

Gt 20 more facebook accounts and scale up your facebook group traffic.

SEO is not as easy as you are making it out to be. You need PBN's, Web 2.0's, Blog comments, guest posts ect. In order to rank.

Not to mention your keyword competitiveness and what it actually takes to rank the keyword. Have you looked at that?

Yes, the competition is low, currently the number one article on the search page has only ~25 backlinks. I don't know much about SEO but that page doesn't look like it is a high quality page

SEO is not suckers game, once you get ranked you can bank more than anything. Target long tail keywords first they are easy to rank.

You can do some SEO. Don't spam too much social networks. Make a page on each one of them and let them be (build backlinks to them eventually). Now your best bet is to find pages with high authority where you can post your link. Do some manual blog commenting to related blogs if you can't afford some SEO service. I am sure you will rank very easy if your competiton is as you say it is.

PS: Take notice that it may take some time. Google now favours older websites with less backlinks rather than new websites with shit ton of backlinks.

It's just weird, I just posted a new article, It aint spammy, I give legit advice and at the end of the article I promote a clickbank product. But whenever I type my exact article title in google I can't find it. Same thing with an article that I wrote days ago. (I select 24hr results etc.)

It can take a while to naturally have an article index, particularly if your domain is new or you have other bad metrics. However, you may just have totally unrealistic expectations. Also - did you ping the article like others have asked? Anyway, you can also try looking for your article title in quotes, i.e. with quote marks around it, which is commonly referred to as EXACT MATCH. It could just take a few days for your content to get indexed. Did you submit a sitemap to google using webmaster tools? If you are doing legitimate whitehat promotions, then it should be fine.

Try Google+. It is highly underrated but still used by millions of people. Pinterest would be another good choice.

When did you create the site versus the article ?
Also pinging (in my experience) works best when done as an update not at the time of the post.

You can PM me (If I can PM yet) and we can talk about more of the details.

That's always a good start, getting generic traffic to an article is the best way to index quickly.
Just keep updating your site with minor changes over time so google knows you are an active site.

I definitely agree with the Google+ strategy. It's a great up-close way to put your content right in the face of Google.
