Hi I just installed Camtasia 6.02 and I have a vid I downloaded from youtube that has a watermark at the bottom of it which is a permanent rectangle with a URL inside it at the right most bottom corner. I'm trying to create my own rectangle with my own URL in it to place over top of this existing one for the entire length of the vid but can't see how to do this... camtasia does not seem intuitive or is it just me? If anyone could help me in this I'd be much appreciative!

    For watermarking ..
It is very easy to do with Windows Movie Maker.

just create an image as the watermark you need... Then you could easily use any basic watermark software that allows image as watermarks to overlay your watermark on top of the previous one.

    I still don't understand why you can't use W.M.M.
Yes you can watermark the corners.
I have Camtasia and still I use W.M.M.

I have Camtasia and after you record your vid, and you are producing your vid afterwords. You will come across a section that addresses the watermark at which you can set up your own personal watermark with your url or whatever you chose. It will stay on the vid thru out the vid and your all set. You can even setup the transparency as well so you can control what it looks like as well. Hope that works out for ya.
