Nice. Definitely going to be doing this!
I thought HMA was a bit too slow for streaming live things....
You can also watch the games on www.tvcatchup.com just make an account and you can see over 100 channels from UK for free. You do need a UK IP though.
I've gotta say, the BBC's coverage of the Olympics has been outstanding. I'm a huge fan of the BBC and happily pay them my TV license every month. The choices on the TV have been great, with numerous live channels and then the option to watch any of the sports interactively through a menu on the red button, with or without commentary. I've been finding it hard to do anything else this past 10 days.
That's a fair point. I used mine from the US and it worked fine. It always depends on the speed of your line though.
The best place to watch the games online is http://www.youtube.com/olympics
Got everything you need.
Isn't there some ways you can modify the headers in Chrome and Firefox. I did this a while back and can view sites in the US which are usually blocked in the UK. There's then no bandwidth issues or proxy problems. I'll do some searching and pop back if I find any results.
Edit: Nah, it seem the BBC are on the ball with this too. Some more info on it here if anyone wants to try: http://tunlr.net/forums/topic/how-to-bbc-live-streams-using-tunlr/
I thought those games are also available on Youtube lol
Much appreciated D-Nice.
Aren't there referral links?

Op has been reported!
Why can't we just use youtube?
ya.. cant you just see in youtube??
You can see in utube but it's not as good as iplayer IMO.
Why the links? For the same reason BHW sell advertising on this great forum, at fantastic rates. ... We got bills to pay.

Living in the UK, iPlayer is definitely a gemstone.
Definitely a good option for the people in other countries.
Agreed, iPlayer is badass, and BBC have done an epic job showing all of the sports.
Enjoy The Games, courtesy of our tax money
I'm only kidding, I use US proxies to watch US TV too!
