If a site is targeted at a certain country, Google use to show the name of the country in the SERP if it was foreign.

    Like this:

    Site Title
    www.mexicotargeteddomain.com/ - Mexico
    This is the site description.

Google is no longer showing the [Country] part ofter the domain. Is anyone else seeing this? Could Google be valuing what you pick as geo-target in webmastertools less now?

Google has changed Penguin so that it runs 24/7. The update targets affiliate and e-commerce sites.
