Site is still indexed.
Whoa, talk about taking a hit!
Are there any manual penalties in your Search Console account?
There were no algorithm updates on August 12th that I can recall.
The site has like 50 pages of 2000 word articles that are awesome content. Can't tell what happened.
My goal now is to find out what happened.
There was an algo update on August 3'rd and 4'th, maybe that has something to do with it, there was also an algo update arround september 3'rd
When I checked there were no manual penalties. The only thing I could find that was strange was this.
Personally none of my sites were hit
That event was a fix for a data anomaly in the Search Console that caused a dip in traffic on 5/14.
I'm usually pretty good when it comes to figuring out what's wrong with a site when I have all of the Google Analytics and Search Console data, but I'm sure you understandably don't want to post all of that data.
I think it's possibly that it's an algorithmic penalty of some sort (these penalties will not show up in your Search Console account), but it's difficult to say which one if you've been hit by one at all.
If you can, answer the questions below and I can try to deduce what happened.
What is your site about (e.g., Is it a video streaming website?)
Do you have any DMCA complaints against your site?
Are there any new dubious links pointing to your site?
Are there any security issues?
Is there a sudden influx of crawl errors on your site?
Is your site loading very slowly, making it difficult to reach?
Have you made any structural changes or changes that you think could have caused this?
Ouch.. That looks horrible hope it comes back!
