So.. I was moving hosts right?

I got Backup Buddy made backups of all my domans and saved them to my desktop.

I went to the new host added all the domains created databases for each domain and than installed wordpress.

Next I went and read the backup buddy instructions and it says I shouldn`t have installed wordpress on the new host.

What the hell do i do now? Do I just ftp into the new host and delete all of wordpress and than run Back up buddy?

do I have to delete the databases too?

This is why you are supposed to read the instructions.

I just don`t know that if I uninstall the wordpress files and try to run backbuddy how does that play into the database? I don`t know if I was supposed to install a database or if backupbuddy was gonna do that for me too?

    1. Delete database
    2. Delete all files installed by Wordpress (all files in domain folder)
    3. Create new DB with new user, add user to DB
    4. Run phpmyadmin from cpanel, select you DB and import to this DB your backuped DB sql file
    5. Run File Manager from cpanel, import your backup zip file with all your wordpress files in the domain folder and unpack the archive
    6. Copy wp-config.php from your zip file, edit the wp-config.php with your new DB_NAME, DB_USER and DB_PASSWORD, then upload this edited wp-config.php to your domain folder (owerwriting existing file).
    7. Enjoy :)

    Don't panic :)

    1) Delete the Wordpress files on the new domain
    2) Delete database created for above (you could leave it it doesn't matter
    3) FTP backip buddy zip file to root of new domain
    4) FTP importbuddy.php to same as (3)
    5) Create new Mysql database grant all permissions
    6) run importbuddy.php (http://xxx.yyy.zzz.com/importbuddy.php
    7) Pick the moved to new host option
    8) Enter new DB / Password / User for database created in (5)
    9) Log in done

Or check the BackupBubby forum lots of useful information there.
