Regardless of what people say, internet marketing is not easy.

Sure $20-$40 can be established fairly easily, but that is only for people who know what they're doing. You can get lucky, but the chance of you repeating that luck is slim to none.

In order to be successful in internet marketing, BE PREPARED TO SPEND 6-12 MONTHS STUDYING AND TESTING METHODS.

Do not quite your job, EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE A SOLID INCOME COMING IN.
It takes a solid understanding of internet marketing, and a multitude of income streams to really by secure. ANY SECOND, one method can instantly saturated and if you simply followed a thread here after a few months but decided to quite your job you will be completely fucked.

    IN CONCLUSION:

DO NOT QUITE YOUR JOB, AND DO NOT HONESTLY EXPECT TO BE MAKING FULL TIME INCOME TILL A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR!

I think thats the definition of a 'biz model'
If u have a business model, then u have something tangible to improve.
U dont want a 'method' or a 'technique' cause methods and techniques tends to die fast.
IMO, the aim is to build a biz model, that is constant.

wow, really? thanks for that amazing information. I was going to quit my job tomorrow and then try and instantly replicate my salary from the next day online.

    /end sarcasm.

You should really think before you post stupid topics like this, everyone knows what you are telling them.

actually, you'll be surprised of how many people did quit their jobs just because they were earning more monies than their day job.

there were a couple of posts back then about people who said, "oh man, i quit my job cos i be earning monies in teh internet. 2 dayz laters i fail. no more mummy for me"

This is as true as the day is long.

I was forced out of my management position in construction 2 and a half years ago. I found IM and it took every day of 12 months to get where I am today.

This was no easy feat wife a wife and son. Plenty of disconnect notices, threats of eviction and repossession of our car.

I did not give, basically because I had no choice but to keep going.

The moral here, is that there is no such thing as a "Buy my product today, be rich by next month" system.

Sure, there are plenty of blackhat methods here, but if you are not INCREDIBLY safe with them, you will lose your commissions quicker thatn sh*t!

I've been consistently over 5 figures a month for a long, long time now and I still have my day job. Maybe out of paranoia, maybe out of greed. :D

Once I have enough saved to coast for 10 years with no income, I'll quit my job. ;)

Good advise, It is easy to say F that boss you hate when you are pulling in over 5x your current job $$

I did just that too early, things dried up and lost everything I had.

just recently I had a good income, and the economy messed it up royally.

I have goals set with a $$$,$$$ amount that needs to be in the bank before I will talk about quiting again [I do have a good paying job for the area, may be different if it was just minimum wage]

I admit when I first came to this forum I was working at walmart and I quit my job because some knuckle heads said I could make money by selling/parking my domains. Well I never really made any Money. I always had it on mind that Wealth will just come to me. but it's been three years and I'm still broke and due to the economy it's hard to find a job!

So my advice would to be keep your job!
I wish I could find one so I can save up.

If he joined bhw on july does it mean he just started im ? loler. :rain:

it all depends.. if you have a well established biz module or websites, then only you can quit your day job.

in my case my day job is already related to im online.

I would also be less likely to quit if i was bhing as opposed to having a steady wh site.

May be he didn't mean he was a member for a long time. I myself visited this forum for a whole year before I decided to become a member.
