If you receive the following this is fake:

    Dear PayPal customer,

During our regularly scheduled account maintenance and verification procedures, we have detected a slight error in your account information.

This might be due to either of the following reasons:

    * A recent change in your personal information ( i.e.change of address).
    * Submitting invalid information during the initial sign up process.
    * An inabillity to accurately verify your selected option of payment due to an internal error within our processors.

Due to this, we require you to confirm and verify your account information by following the link below:

    http s:// ww w. pa ypa l .com/cgi-bin /we bscr? cmd=_login-run

If your account information is not confirmed and verified within a certain period of time then your ability to access your account would become restricted.

    Sincerly,
    PayPal

I think you should post them as people still fall for them (people that have been living in a cave or in a coma for the last few years).

True, this letter has been spread around a number of times in the past. It doesn't hurt to have it posted for those that aren't aware of it.

I got one but I think these fishers do not do their home work regularly. Their email does not look like a paypal email.
