    Hey guys,
I caught a glimpse of enlightenment heading home from work today and I am deciding to share it with you guys, because you're so cool and you help me with my questions!

Anger and rage is one of the most powerful emotions a human can harness. It has the power to do catastrophic things. Just take a look at history and you'll see what I mean.

Did you know anger and rage can be used for good? Plenty of companies, non profit organizations and other projects have been started out of anger and rage. Why not use these emotions to your advantage rather than your fall?

The next time you are royally pissed, use your energies for something that's SAFE and that will provide you with benefits in the long run. Something internet marketing related that will make you some MONEY!

Ok, so everyone that is reading this right now that is happy, how do you conjure up feelings of anger safely without hurting anyone?

The answer lies in psychology. A concept known as NLP, specially the concept of anchoring. If you guys want me to go into detail about anchoring let me know.

I am angered and enraged that this isn't in the lounge :p

PS ... begging for rep usually has the opposite effect. If you need 20 rep you're digging the wrong direction.

NLP has been around for sometime. . . used heavily with social engineering.

You can read an intro book on it to learn a bit. If anyone is interested on the topic I'll sum a bunch of it up for you:

    Techniques like

anchoring - using a hand gesture or touch (say touching someone on the wrist) everytime THEY say something that makes them smile, laugh or feel good. Repeating this subtly throughout the time spent. Then when you go to ask for something like a sale, a date, whatever, you repeat the anchor as you ask.

Pacing and Leading - matching the speed and depth of a person who is speaking with you. For example a person breaths shallow and speaks quickly cause they are excited. .. You start at a similar level . . . continue a bit this way . . build rapport, then lead them to a lower level / higher level, whatever you wish.

Lateral Eye Movements - Watching where people's eyes move when the talk with you. Noticable although sometimes pretty subtle movements. A person has a pattern, and it shows where they are accessing information from their brain. THere is a standard pattern that works for many where looking up (left or right) visual, lateral (left or right) auditory, and down (left or right) kinesthetic or internal dialogue (talking to yourself). In this case often a person who is attempting to lie will look down and often rightward as they talk inside their head for what to say. Whereas someone who is remembering a past event will look up and leftward (visually remembering and event).

Using predacates - Matching the type of speech others are using for verbs. This breaks people into roughly 3 types (visual, audiotory, and kinesthetic) people. Matching a visual person would be responding to a question with the answer
'I see the picture your painting'

    For auditory you would say
    'I hear what your saying'

    For Kinesethic
    'I feel your point'

Cross Mirroring - matching the movements of a person with a similar pattern. For example a person crosses their legs left to right . .you cross yours right to left. Or you clasp your hands right to left. They tap their feet, you tap your finger. . etc.

All of these things are done to build rapport, and then lead people in a way after this. Online its a lot more different. Much more predecates, and driving eyes to parts of page, etc. If you find this stuff interesting and possibly useful. . hit up manmusic i guess. . there is a boat load on the topic, and if you do it well . . you will often get your what your looking for with a lot greater percent.

Dude, you put way too much effort into a post that has a 95% chance of going poof as soon as a moderator reads the stupidass OP and decides its file-13 material, especially since it wasn't posted in the lounge and is begging for rep and thanks.

Copy that and save it for a blog post or something somewhere lol.

Don't make dumb threads asking for rep and thanks. If you want to share then you should do it. Getting damn tired of threads like this.
