I recently bought scrapebox and first i want to say its a very good tool with many many uses. After reading some threads about using scrapebox to get backlinks without commenting I was intrigued. So I tried it out and lets just say it worked too good. I think I had about 12000 active URLs to get backlinks from and after I did a rapid index my server got hammered. I had dozens of bots crawling my URL and it got to the point that I had to reboot my server just to clear some of the stale connections. This could be a fluke but just a warning to those of you who are on shared hosting or even on VPS or dedicated servers. The rapid indexer when used correctly will give you EXACTLY what you want!

I have never had problems myself to be honest with it, but I only do a few thousand at a time -

yea i think i might have to do a few thousand at a time. I am testing it now on a site that uses shared hosting with about 4K indexers so I will see if i get a nasty email from the abuse department.

Well I have done a blast of about 40k and I only have about 49 bots on my site at the moment! If your server struggles with that then I really would move

Yep :) it will sure bring the bots. Works good on parasite hosting and such. I usually don't hammer my own server because of this reason.
