I have several niche websites I've been working on, testing different backlinks and methods on different niche websites so that I could sperate what is effectively working, and what isn't.

I just wanted to warn some of you guys out there who think blasting the shit out of your money site with 10,000...20,000, even 50,000 with mostly no-follow, blog comments, backlinks can get you seriously SLAPPED by panda.

I had a first page niceh website that was there for months, til i tried out a automated backlinks blasts and it got slapped all the way to page 6. Now I'm trying to recover it by providing it some good high PR blog posts, and it's finally moving, but only page 2.

Just an trial n error. It might not affect you, but I found blasting backlinks that are useless, even for link juice or diversity becomes useless at some point, probably even more damaging. This is my mini case study I guess.

Hope this helps some of you who think you can rank websites by only blasting bunchloads of comment backlinks on fiverr LOL

If you believe that is true then do it to your competitors and win the Internet.

Panda has nothing to do with backlinks. If you blast to many links at a site that doesn't have some age and a solid backlink structure already, your site will drop for a while (the google dance" they call it) but it will recover, most likely in a better position than before.

lol nope this is not possible otherwise everyone will blast shit of backlinks to his competitors and bamm all gone down to 6th page.
My advice will be to keep making backlinks and your site will jump up to its desired place again...soon

And btw why did you blasted your money site directly with those crappy links ??? I would suggest you to read some threads here to get a grasp of what is working and whats not.

What makes people think that this isn't possible?

I hear this 2008 reply every time someone talks about a site getting slapped, well guess what - it's true.. You can spam a site right out of the serps.

For the uninformed there's a little thing called TrustRank that has been a part of Google's algo for like forever now.

Authority sites with high trustrank are pretty much immune to spammy link blasts and anything you throw at them they can withstand, on the other hand - newer sites that have managed to make it to the first page in short periods of time can be completely demolished with 1 or 2 spammy link blast with no problems.

I have {done|seen|experienced} it firsthand so please stop with the misinformation regurgitation.

maybe if you'll blast your site with thousands of links from p0rn and gaming sites that will be the case, can't see how blog comments can make this effect, it's just the google dance

You can definitely knock people off the first page with huge porn/hate anchortexts in the hundreds of thousands blog comments, if the site your trying to drop is a authority site already with domain age it won't work.
Any website can be beaten in serps, so you should be building up your own sites instead of trying to knock out someone else.

Under the right circumstances, you can "google bowl", that is -- penalize a website so badly they will never rank for anything, with nothing more than backlinks applied a certain way.

Those circumstances don't typically happen in a way that will benefit a competitor. You can't take that technique to a #1 listing and expect it will do anything but strengthen them.

But for a new website, freshly in the top 10, just broke there from the teens, their content isn't the best, their backlinks aren't solid ... you can permanently (as in years) ruin their rankings with the right kind of link blasting applied.

So yes, you can really penalize a new site with the right kind of link campaign. People do it to themselves on this forum all day long, every day. Some people try to console them "oh you're only suffering from a google dance". It's a penalty, for low quality links spammed with bad link velocity to a website that hasn't ranked very well for its position in recent history.

You can't use this against your competitors, if someone is ranked #1 for the right reasons, it is a gamble whether spammy links would harm or help them.

Everyone knows spamming your links can hurt, the real question is where the cutoff is where it will no longer hurt you. Is it a certain # of pages, a certain number of high quality backlinks, is it a certain domain age, nobody knows?

If the site isn't something you can just start up again on a different domain it's always better to play it safe. You should always choose quality over quantity anyway.

Send me the Url to your new page 1 site and I'll send you my paypal email when it's gone missing.

I have knocked #1 ranked sites of my own right off of the planet doing dumb iss when I was getting started and have seen it done to others countless times.

If you need further proof please - by all means - be my guest and send me the url you want to test on.

    i need to understand something,

lets say for keyword: blabla im no #1 , with pr 3 , 3 years domain , been there for 6 months now. many back links. all good right?

no, every few days im checking the ranking, when i see a move in the first page result , lets say, site no. #5 becomes no. #3 , now, i can see this site is going to make me "troubles" , fight with me on the no #1 place right?

this site , that just move to no. #3 , is willing to get my position of no. #1, so this no. #3 , is a new site , 1 pr , less then a year domain, and less back links then my site, if i will best this site , with SB+xrumer , with many links, on a daily basis with bad anchors , it will get penalized, right?

if that indeed right, who ever in the first place in the SERP , and is site , is there for some time, will never leave the first place, because when he see and "attack" on his place, you just get the new site penalized... right???

    thanks,
    M.

Just a little dance, unless your site is crap and filled with junk.. then forget it. If you continue to send it some backlinks.. you'll be back in no time. I've had sites go from position 1-2 to page 2-4 then come back to position 1-3 within a few weeks of building quality links. Don't give up soldier.. keep your head up.

I always blast my money sites, but over a period of time. Some have gone, some have stayed.. but i would say the ratio of staying is alot higher than the ones that have gone as long as you keep building good links!
