    be aware that hg is actively searching accounts for email harvesters and anything that can be used to send out spam. if they find anything they will shut down your account!

    they look at file names ('harvester, etc.'), plus they use spiders to search for 'suspicious' programs. it would be a good idea to keep backups of your major files on your hard-drive and/or on another server. and use innocent sounding names.

    i used to ab(use) a rather large shared webhost that ran a perl based bot that would search through files looking for certain strings like Socket , etc.. I ended up just encoding my files , a simple base64 encoded string wrapped with an eval and that was that..
