So I want to start up a few amazon sites. I have done tons of research and find that most people are using wordpress and are targeting a certain niche. My questions are:

    1) How many products per site?

    2) Should I make only one site and just have a ton of pages for my different niches? Or should I use different domain names per niche?

    3) Is it absolutely necessary to use some sort of autoblog plugin to update new products or can I just use the same products?

    4) I have some experience using templates and designing the site myself with dreamweaver and have never used wordpress. Should I just use my normal method with dreamweaver or is it worth it to learn and use wordpress?

    5) What are the articles for? Just for product reviews and to help rank higher? Or is there an alternative motive?

    6) Is there any software that is an absolute must to help my sites rank higher?

    7) What is the best way to choose my niches/products?

Please answer any or all questions and give me any advice possible before I get my feet wet with this. Thanks.

Wordpress will be quicker if your doing multiple sites, there are some great free templates available also.
The articles should be optimised for the keywords you are trying to rank for and there are plenty of wordpress addons to help with SEO etc.
Keyword research is very important as well as seeing what competition you have for the keywords you are trying to rank for.
Finally give it time, it will take a while for any new site to rank highly even with easier keywords.
    Good luck.
