    So most of my websites go after high traffic top domains that takes some long-term strategy to reign over.. what I've decided to get into after learning many people earn thousands a month from niche sites is find a niche of my own to rank 1 or 2 in google and earn from.

    I found a decent 2 word keyword and I can get the .com domain if I put a hyphen between (I also plan to append an s for plural)
    I know I can definitely hit rank 2 if Im not overlooking something

    Keyword tool global searches = 14,800 with local about 7,500
    SEOT = 91
    PBR = 15%
    SEOC = 75,700
    No PR over 5 (rank 1 is 5 though)
    other indicators like title, etc are indicated as easy
    CPC = about $2
    SEOV = $180/day

    Could someone guide me in the right direction with this? Any advice or things to be careful about?

    It seems lucrative because not any authority sites besides wikipedia (which doesnt even target the keyword directory). But Im pretty low on funds so I dont really want to dispense costs for a new domain if Its not going to make any money.

    well, I dont mean to break your spirits but 15k / month is not very high unless its for people who are actually looking to buy something, if its just for information, personally I wouldnt go after it.

    Its true but its not uncommon to see a micro niche site earning hundreds a month with only couple thousand searches a month.. What I notice is no combination of related keyword carries more than 50k unless you get to the one word keywords so perhaps combining a manageable number of related keywords could help?

    I figure 15k/month might translate into 5k visits a month for a rank 2, which yea I guess is pretty low especially after accounting for CTRs..so I'll keep looking, the hardest part of keyword searching is starting
    I know some BHW members offer keyword sales but I have market samurai so might as well use it
