I been thinking of making one authority website.
i think I'm gonna target a city. (Some big famous city) and post about everything in it.
Going to post more then 15-20 articles a day at start.
(will do it myself. plus will hire a native guy to write it for me)
will work with Google plus/Facebook page/ twitter accounts/ tumblr etc as well
Already own Bookmarking demon, so gonna be bookmarking my articles.
will use traffic travis/MNF to find keywords as well
gonna concentrate on ON PAGE SEO as well.
at first I'm gonna start with adsense and then after it gets huge, will move to some other travel affiliates or something
    Just want some suggestions.

How is the idea? of making it about a city? or shall i think of something else ?
    Any other suggestions are welcome

I have a few Authority websites. They have all been built up over years.. If I can give you any advice I would say pick a subject that you are knowledgeable on and that you like if not love.

I have started out on sites based on KW research and lost interest in 2 months. The only reason why my remaining sites have succeeded is because I love the subject and know what I am talking about.

you really need to be writing content and updating weekly to keep visitors coming back and you wont do that with a subject you could care less about.

Onpage seo is always great to get right from the start for any website, but the most important thing after that is to put up a quality site.

Its better if you have 5k words of purely attractive content than 50k of pure shit based on scraped articles.

As "Duffers5000" said, pick something you have knowledge on and make it interesting for the users.

Everything is easy at the begining, loads of motivation, etc etc; what really counts is after months of being with the same project, it is for that reason that it is super important for you to pick something you like/love.

    IM all the way.
I agree in picking something you love. Since you're doing this by yourself, you need to know/love the subject.
