I've never advertised on Facebook so I don't have a clue how this works.

Let's say I have an established Facebook-account with all my friends and relatives but not using my exact real name (using kind of an alias).
Now let's say I want to start advertising on Facebook. (I also intend to create a business-page on Facebook, if that matters.)

Should I do this from my established alias-named account, or must/should I create a new proper name account just for the purpose of advertising?

Please help me understand how it works! :)

I just explored a bit and pressed 'Add payment method' and saw that PayPal is an option.

Could this work to advertise pages I've created with my pseudonym-name account?
