    I am looking at vbulletin and xenforce but I don't know one how to install it and two which one is better since I am starting out. Thanks for the advice.

    xenforo is great. ipb is #2 in my list. vb is old school.

    For paid option go with xenforo. It is much better than vbulletin. Go with Fluxbb if you are looking for free , fast & lightweight forum system.

    You can go with vBulletin it is better.
