I have an Idea for a filehost with a little twist to make it unique. But to get there I first need hosting and the likes. For most filehosts, they have dedicated servers or racks of servers, and I just don't have that kind of startup capital, so I'm starting to look around for anyway I could outsource it (if such a thing exists). So I started looking at sites like mediafire, rapidshare and then I came to megaupload. They allow unlimited downloads for premium users with direct linking. And free members can store upto 200gb! So I'm thinking - BRAINSTORM! I should go buy a megaupload premium account, then create a script on my site that when a user trys to upload a file, it actually uploads it to one of several free megaupload accounts. Then it will take the megaupload link, and save it in a mySQL database, then from there it will give a link tothe user to propagate and spread freely. Now when a user comes to my site to download said file, I'll make em wait and when you come to download, via phpcurl I'll loginto my megaupload premium acct and then share that cookie with the downloaded and iframe (1x1pix) the direct download link, then after a few secs, I'll redirect the iframe to the megaupload logout page, thus logging the user out so they cannot use my cookie to continue to download freely.

Does anyone think this would work? Would megaupload eventually catch on and ban me or do they not care at all?
    Thanks!

They'd catch on sooner or later, but good idea :)

Haha! That could work for a little bit but you would have to keep switching accounts, what you
should do is set that up with a pay per download site or bundle the downloads with something
    similar.
