Find CPA offers that are simple zip email submits and/or business opportunity offers. They do well in the job section.

My favourite CL trick is to use a fake job offer (i.e. some customer support thingy) to get their emails, and then refer the people to some online job portal or tell them they need some kind of software (something with a free trial).

So you would basically telling them:
"Hey, we noticed your location will only make a telecomute position work, so please head over to BlAbLA.com and get their free trial of that BlaBLa telecomute software"

    or

"Hey, we would gladly take you into our team, please head over to BlaBla(job portal), and register, then go and find MyOwnAwesomeFakeCompany and we will be able to set everything up within a month"

Sorry, I was referring to the biz opportunity. Just realized I grouped them together.

Thanks - I used a similar technique to build a list of about 500 people, but I didn't use it the right way and didn't make jack. I think that this here is a nice twist. I'll give it a spin. -e-

I actually did post in jobs in big cities and paid the $25 per. Hey - since most marketers are cheap, there's likely to be less competition. I'm not afraid to spend a little to make a little (or a lot). -e-

I've tested both methods, and I always make more by posting in the free cities. The results are too much different, if you're willing to make to post a little more often in the unpaid cities.

Someone posted an aff link to free business cards in the For Sale business section. I clicked the link, didn't buy anything, but I clicked.

Like with any business venture, you can learn a lot by studying those in the field you're interested in. I would get on craigslist and start finding and clicking on all the ads where people are trying to promote a product or affiliate and analyze what they're doing and what niche they are in.

I tried Nevarc's method exactly as described above (and got the idea from his post as well). I received loads of emails, but once I stuck them into Aweber, to double opt in (ok, so that's not Black Hat) I lost about a third of them, and while I had lots of clicks for offers, I had very little conversion. I tried this on a whim and didn't works the kinks out to make it work, but I certainly think that one could find ways to twist this around a bit to make some serious $$. In a couple of days I had about 500 people looking for 'a job', so there is certainly opportunity here for those who are persistent. -e-

Hey I just have one question about Nevarc's method:

If I'm going to be referring these job seekers over to staffing agencies, do I need to let them know that staffing agencies will be calling them?

I mean will the agencies get pissed at me if they start spending their time contacting people that don't want to talk to them? Or has this just never been an issue...

Just wondering, I was looking to implement this method and didn't want to spend time to get bitched at instead of paid

    Thanks for your help guys

    Hugo
