The method to find high Pr backlinks is simple.Go to Digg 365
    Code:
    http://digg.com/all/popular/365days

and you will find plenty of high Pr pages to spam.If you load many pages to check the PR the firefox will froze because every digg page has many comments.
To avoid this right click on comments(just under the title) and copy the link..then past all the links in a multiple page rank website like the one below and filter the Pr.
    Code:
    http://www.4weblog.com/multiple-pagerank-checker.php

Btw don't make comments with multiple links because you're account will be deleted.Make multiple accounts and comment on every link to avoid banning.

    interesting,
so all you have to do is post a comment for each article and put your link below it? even though your site has nothing to do with the article?

So it should look like this:

    BLAH BLAH BLAH
    www.example.com

    Like that?
But how much visitors will you actually get by doing that?
There are so many others that are commenting and advertising also.

I believe the benefit of getting these types of backlinks is to improve your site's PR (and popularity in search engines). You will probably not get much traffic as a direct result of people reading the Digg comments.

    berrycorp - isn't that a stupid idea?
you might have read a misleading article or something?

Also so let me get this straight
you post a comment on digg, google's spiders search digg regularly and they see your site so that gives your site a higher PR?

I just posted my comment and link in the first Digg link at the start of this thread. I have Se*arch Sta*tus installed on Fire*fox and it shows no follow links in pink. All the links in the comments on the Digg page are not highlighted, so I am assuming they are "do follow". I looked at the page source but nothing came up regarding the comments, so I couldn't check for "no follow" tags before the links. Let me know if I am wrong about this or if Digg changes their policy, thanks.

Digg doesn't want html in the comments, so does typing in your site address (www.mysite.com) as part of the comment count as a backlink?

Looks like it' still a Follow link to me (This is the NoDoFollow firefox plugin) Blue is follow and red is no follow.

You'll have to enter your site as http://www.yoursite.com, without the http, it wont be a link.

Now I have always wondered somthing about back links. Say on digg i have my site posted in 10 diffrent comment pagesthat have pr5. is that one pr5backlink per comment. Or does it all count as digg.com = one pr5?

It's good for some quick link juice and indexing but you'll get banned soon enough.

well the problem i see with posting the comment as it sits with just your URL is that you're not building that anchor text with your keywords you want to link for. To get maximum juice from these links, we'd need to be able to figure out a way to add the link with a specific keyword.

it will still help with ranking if the content found on the page is relevant to the term you are wanting to rank for

If you find enough high PR links on digg, might even make sense to create blogs about these and put the links up. That way, your content is relevant and is less likely to get deleted.

Digg's top posts say up there for a very long time, and do get pulled up frequently from other site, so I think it really will help if you can get a comment in there.

Also, if you say something funny or contradictory, that may get you some comment thumbs up as well and make your comment more visible
