Ok Guys this is the problem couple of days a go i walked into my local walmart store and bought a Boost Mobile Phone including with a $50 Re-Boost Card i took my new phone and re-boost card home activated my phone then use my re-boost card ok everything was working fine:cool: now comes the sweet part my girlfriend has been telling me that she had an old boost mobile phone why did i spend lots of money buying a new phone i told her it's just a phone but then last night i thought about it i decided last night that i would return my new phone but first i will transfer my service from the new phone on to my girlfriend's old phone ok i did that everything went smooth then i re-packaged the phone i bought including with my receipt then headed to walmart to return the phone and get my money back ok now here comes the problem walmart told me that the activation number on my receipt Doesn't match with the serial number on the box of the phone then i told them well that's impossible i told them that everything that's in the box including the box came from this walmart so why Doesn't it match with my receipt? i told them that's a scam that's fraud i want my money back then the manager said we cant give you your cash back we can only give you store credit because your receipt number don't match with the number on the box so i said to the manager what would you do if i buy a phone infront of you right now then activate it right in-front of you then return it 5 minutes later on and you guys still telling me my new receipt number don't match with the number on the box? then he got nervous and started shaking

so what should i do guys file a law suit against walmart? because i think they are running a big scam ring and scamming poor people out of their money i even heard the first guy that was helping me said to his manager that the guy over at the electronics department said that customers have been coming in returning their items only to be told that their receipt don't match with the serial number on their box so their for they can't get their money back only credit etc i need advice guys thanks

You shouldn't have left when you said that, you should have demanded a refund. Now they can fix the problem and you have no evidence.

first, next time you do a write up like that, include some paragraphs! that was freaking hard to read.

second, i dunno if this is much of a lawsuit. they are giving you store credit, which is what a lot of stores do anyway, no money refunds. and i can't think of a way for you to prove this actually happened. i mean, it could be just as easy that you are the one scamming them.

My advice is to go back to school to gain some basic literacy skills.

You have bigger problems than a $50 phone.

kind of sucks ....just take the store credit. Cut your losses...if you can't find some stuff at WalMart to buy for yourself...get something for your girlfriend or Mom

dude walmart supposed to refund people their money back as long as they have everything in the box plux the receipt and i didn't scam them and im not trying to either the manager clearly told me because my receipt number is not matching with the number on the phone box there for i cant get my money back only store credit explaine to me how would you be willing to give someone a store credit if the receipt number supposedly don't match with the box serial number anyways i look at it like this if you are claiming that my receipt number don't match with the serial number on the box you shouldn't be trying to offer me anything not my money or store credit they truth of the mater is they basically telling me screw you your not getting your money back only a store credit that way you buy something else from us that we never loose sales which would make us survive this tough economy times those freaking crooks im going to get a lawer tomorrow

    OP,

    Have you tried writing articles?

I'm sure you'd make bank and forget about this entire situation.

Good for you. Spend 5k on a lawyer so you can screw WalMart out of $80.

Along with the writing classes take some remedial math.

dude what walmart is doing is clearly a scam if it takes me to stop them from scamming innocent people then that $5000 is well worth it and what you just said is one of walmart's defense mechanisms they think not everyone would go thru the hassles to sue them well they have met their match i know all the in's and out i just wanted to see if there were similar stories out there like mines:D

That is funny, I don't care who you are.

@OP - you want help and I understand that but you have to work with those that can help you.

Your 437 word run on sentence causes eyes to bleed and children to have nightmares.

Write a sentence, use a period.

Put a few sentences together and you have a paragraph.

Slap several paragraphs together and you have a post.

This is not rocket science no matter what language is your first language.

That being said, take the Walmart credit of 80.00 and call it a day... that is the best you are going to get.

To the OP: just threaten legal action against them but don't actually get a lawyer or else you would end up paying huge legal fees for a measely $80.

Well if you were ever actually GOING to sue Walmart it would have to be a class action suit btw if you said other people were also returning stuff. And what's so bad about store credit? You're going to have to buy commodities again right? Even then can't you just go buy something solid that won't change serial numbers on you and then return it for cash?

yup, you should definitely spend a couple grand on a lawyer to get your $50 bucks back. Brilliant.
