    Hi there,

i am just doing a website for a client, and he gave me the content in a pdf-document (he does have it only in this file - nothing else). Okay i thought now problem, BUT the content in the pdf is embedded in pictures, so you can't copy the text.
Now i tried the ocr-feature of acrobat pro, but i wasn't able to squeeze the text out of it.

Now i exported all the images which are containing the text and i need your advice. With which ocr - programms will i have the best results? Or do you have another hint for me?

I dont want to type 40 Sites of fine print text

And why exactly does he only have your content in images?
You could always outsource it, and make them write it down, then you'll get it without mistakes.

Because the site is actually made from a book, she released. She gave a million of small .docs to the lecutre, this one has made about 5-6 different versions of it, sended it to a graphic designer, who made this damn pdf. All without the webdesigner in mind. Now i have the choice to get a good ocr or compare every sentence of many many .docs with the book... so much chaos - never a again a website for those chaotic women ;)

No good experiences with outsourcing - it contains umlauts and stuff and i never got it made good till now.
