which caching plugin should I use on my blog?
w3 total cache + wp smush or wp super cache?
last time i messed around with this, i messed up the caching and couldn't fix it
and don't want to do that again LOL
gtmetrix recommends w3 total cache + wp smush to optimize website performance
should i follow the gtmetrix w3 total cache setup or go with wp super cache?
which one is better to go with? and what's a good setup?

Have you tried Wordfence cache system? It's included in the wordfence plugin. Works pretty good.

WP Smush is an image optimiser. No need for it if youre optimising images before upload anyway. I'd go with wordfences falcon engine as that is really easy to set-up and doesn't require the messing around that the other two caching plugins need.
