I use w3 total cache and updated this an also WP to 3.13 and it now uses more resources than before.

Should I switch to WP Super cache?

I am in the process of updating all my blogs with cache, I investigated both super cache and w3. I even installed both... I found super cache had better support, less problems and more plugins worked on it... just my thoughts... and I am new here! :)

I prefer w3 total over WP Super Cache, but I have had problems with a conflict with WP Robot on some of my blogs. On some blogs, I was getting the dreaded "1970" issue. I removed W3 and put in WP Super and the problem resolved itself.

I did not have this conflict on all of my blogs, so I still have some running W3.

I get that 1970 on some and not others as well.

    Strange.

I also had to disable minify settings on the latest version of w3 since it was causing problems.

I hate to have to change these over,so i how W3 has a fix coming soon! :)

I run w3 total cache on a number of my sites and rate it highly. As well as the performance boost that it gives (requires a bit of time configuring properly), it also has a number of great features such as sitemap generation, stripping the category base from your urls, etc. Once you set it up to your personal settings, you should start to see some benefits.

I also have some trouble with the minify settings, deactivated it for the time being.

I say if you on shared Hosting

HYPERCACHE + DB CACHE RELOADED + WP MINIFY..Try it , ITs Awesome.

WP-total Cache is the best if you using CDN.
