Hi, i am 15, and I have been using CPA to make money online. So far I have made a little over 100 dollars, and I need to fill out a w9 to get paid. I am wondering if by doing this my parents will have any way of finding out I filled out a form eg. Message from irs in mail, something shows on my bank account, etc. Thanks

There is no point in hiding it from your parents because if you want to do this the right way with taxes and stuff you need to be over 18 or get help from your parents.

Don't worry about it .. the IRS doesn't care who you are as long as you pay your taxes. As for the parents ... christ they should be happy you are hitting them up for cash .. I would be!

Talk to your parents about it, I'm sure that they will be happy that you are making your own money.

Also, let them know that your identity won't be stolen. That really is a concern with parents and online W9 tax forms.
