Hi sorry for the noob question. I have a Quad Core Q9440 2.66 GHz with 4GB RAM, would getting a VPS with minimal specs say 2.60GHz 512MB RAM still outperform my local system? My Internet connection tops at 2mpbs.

VPS plan is found here http://xsserver.eu/windows-vps.html

    Thanks a lot. :)

hi bud, my home pc is about the same except that I sport aQ6600.
Your bottleneck here is your connection, it is too slow to fully run SB. So yes, in terms of speed a VPS will probable be better.
In terms of stability and usability, probably not.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Maruk. I did a basic Math and it seems I'll get most out of my money if I opt for a good VPS, I may not have a new machine but the money I'll need to shell out if I want a 10mbps connection would be far beyond 100$ a month. :)

    Hi bdtyrone,

I have the same question... i had 2 months working with SB, and getting low post rate.

But...From yesterday, i contract the VPS Service from (xsserver.eu) the 35$ one, buy 4 proxy, and test again. and im getting better results.

And the best of the best.... Very very fast! Im my computer i need more than 12 hours, to blast a big list... In the VPS a few hours.

I check the speed of the VPS and have: 30MB down/15MB upload.

    Thanks
