I bought a Windows VPS but I don't know how to set it up. All I need from it is just a remote access so that I can install and use one desktop software. Looking for someone cheap who can set it up so far.

If you are coming from a Windows desktop, all you need to run is the RDP program that Windows comes with.

Give it your IP address, username and password and you will connect fine.

You should contact your provider's support, cause it might be different in your case, but usually you should have RDP already set up on your VPS, all you need is VPS server IP address, admin username and password, then you run program called Remote Desktop on your computer, type the VPS's IP in the field "Computer" and click connect, then you'll get a prompt with username and password and you type VPS admin username (usually Administrator) and password and that's it.

Ok, I'll try that soon. The vps is unmanaged though fyi, but yea I was also hoping that I'd get remote access to it right away, will see.
