vps required for scrapebox ?

Maybe i'm not getting something. I thought you just purchase sb, load it on your computer, get some proxies and blast away. Whats the purpose of the vps? i'm assuming for speed but if your computer is fast enough, who cares?

I think it is so you can just leave scrapebox running 24/7 without using a lot of bandwidth from your regular computer.

If your ISP does not complain (many DNS request, high BW usage) or you do not have to fear legal consequences (also civil court), feel free to be a home spammer. BTW: proxies tend not to be safe to hide your identity for several reasons. No probs? Then spam!

its not required but it will boost your results by a lot as scraping and posting can be done so much quicker if your internet connection is not that good.

VPS is recommended but not necessary. You can run it on your own computer

isps can only see the bandwidth used and not the dns requests, dns requests are just browser based stufff no?

Nope, you can run the slow poster on your comp too

you don't need VPS at all - there is a remote chance that your ISP gets pissed, but this is something truly remote and probably possible if you mess up big time..... I used to have 7 comps running bots 24/7 in two countries and none of the ISPs that I used ever had a thing to say...

if there is such a chance though, then choose a big ISP as they have gazillion customers and unless they get massive complains about whatever you are doing, only then they would bother looking at your activities

as long you know what you're doing, scrape the hell from home, but i recommend a kind of safe setup....

connect home2vpn, rdesktop2vps, use private proxies there and scrape until you blowup something LMAO
