Hi, i'm a total noob and i'm using my first vps, I have one doubt: if I restart the operating system I will lose the data saved? Like sofware installed.

No you shouldn't lose anything. If it's a windows VPS it should act like a Windows OS when you restart it.

Thank's, I was afraid because when I try to restart, the VPS ask me a reason why I am restarting the virtual machine
