    Hi,
On my linux vps with Whm and cpanel, everytime I add a cpanel account for a new domain I end up with wrong permission and owner. I always have to change everything using ssh chown user:user home/example.com
Is there a way to add a new domain without having to fix everything everytime ?
    Thank you

Do you add these accounts manually or through any billing system like WHMCS?

What is the default user/group assigned to the account when you create the accounts?

It's root:root everytime and I always have to use putty in order to set the right user

    That's my issue !

Last time I saw an error like that was a good few years ago when v11 of WHM came out - probably teaching you to suck eggs but have you tried forcing an update (/scripts/upcp) or the fixeverything script (/scripts/fixeverything)
