VPN related questions, ideas

Hello friends,

I always was interested in proxies and that stuff, but only recently I started to learn about this part of Internet.

From what I know VPN - is kind a server, with good security to connect to third party servers anonymously let's say to download torrents, make accounts... and it's possible to not save all logs of your activity. Also possible to do that with remote desktop (If not, please help me to understand it correctly..)

I want to start my VPN/Proxy reseller business and currently have some questions about it...Not afraid to acknowledge that, that's why I'm here anyway

1. What does it mean - multiple IP VPN - you can buy 100 IP addresses in one VPN, I want to ask how it works?
And in reality how many physical servers have included for example 100 IPs...?

2. For what purpose people need multiple IPs in VPN? Maybe some example?

3. Is it hard to manage whole work of administering VPN (do I need many programs if I have some clients)?

Any help in words, links would be appreciated.. Also any concepts, ideas, problem aspects are welcome - I'm not afraid to read, learn even if this is really new thing for me.

Ok, as anybody don't help - I will try to answer my questions as I can. But I will need some help still

I will start.

VPN(virtual private network) - It's a server with program to which can connect multiple machines (that's why it's a network). Program is written in a manner to connect to the internet via safe way (encrypted connections, different types of security layers) - it's used to be anonymous to your ISP, hackers or target server and similar. For example you can download torrents and no one will understand that it was you doing it.

There are couple important things here.
First, when choosing VPN - you should understand that some servers keep logs (info about your browsing), so it's smart to use machine with this feature off.
Second, you should understand that there are many people using this particular VPN (machine with software (technology)) who are using same connection, IP (maybe, don't know that yet).

There comes a feature - multiple IP's. There are two scenarios.
1) 5 people using same IP connection identification - so it gets to slow - program switches to next IP.
2) You created facebook account Any Name with IP 1.2.3.4.5 and now you want to create account Type Any, that's why you need IP 1.2.3.4.5.6 which differs from first = it means it's different person making it.

How I did it? Many mistakes?

Still I don't find info about how many IPs can have one physical machine.
