Do any of you use volusion? How do you like it?

Do they charge you for all types of plugins?

I did some research and they charge 200$ a pop for every necessary plugin that is vital for running a webshop

Actually, Volusion is not a bad shopping cart. In the past they've gotten a bad rap for customer service and plugin costs (like 2727 has stated). Today they've fixed and improved many of their features, making store building easy. Some people may not like their bandwidth overage fees, but services like bandwidthdiet and Amazon S3 make great solutions.
