I recently got interested in using voice controls to speed up using tasks, and it seems like it has alot of potential if you get alot of good macros. From what I was seeing this is just a few of hundreds of macros you could set up.

Is it really this useful totally or just when you need to control your pc when your not at your desk and can't type?

It's useful if your computer can handle software like Dragon Naturally Speaking and handle the macros that are used. If you're computer can't react to your command in a moments notice or it's laggy then it might slow ydown your productivit.

Me myself, I find voice control (Dragon Naturally Speaking) useful most of the time. It takes some time to adjust, but when the software learns your voice and you create custom commands your productivity will increase a lot.

I really like Dragon for writing essays and such. For me, a software developer hobbyist, voice control becomes useless when I code.

The problem I see with voice control, on your PC or anywhere, is that it has to keep an open microphone while waiting for your commands. It's the main privacy issue with the new Microsoft Xbox console, it's basically recording everything you say and sending it to Microsoft so they can voice-assist you.

Unless your hacked there is no privacy issue on the PC. So just check for hackers if you don't want to get right into using voice control.

You should do a fresh install of your OS, and start using anti-virus

I was thinking. Aren't people not going to be talking unless they are giving commands?
