is there anyway of using a program like virtuawin (or other virtual desktops) and having a separate mouse control?

With virtuawin, when Im using a mouse for a macro and then I switch desktop, the mouse is still used and moving by itself and I cant use it...is there an option or another program? i prefer virtual desktop than virtual machines....

are you using imacros ? if yes then probably you dont even need mouse control for it , just select html mode from option and your cursor would be free to move . i haven`t tried it on virtual desktop but my experience says it should work .
and if you are using winautomation or similar stuff then you are stuck ,coz they require mouse movement to select and click links.

First of all in Virtuawin on the tab Expert, setting "On hidden window activation" must be set to ignore the event.
I'm using Scripting edition of imacros and the firefox window constantly stealing focus even when its on the second desktop of virtuawin.
So I've installed this patch http://www.missingremote.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3692&Itemid=232 and on the second desktop I have now Remote desktop session for another user on my computer with imacros running and not stealing focus.
