I have a Gateway Windows XP. Whenever I try installing VMware
on it I get an error message. It seems that I need Windows Vista
or Windows 7 to get it to run.

Can anyone tell me if there is any Virtual Machine version that will
    work on my PC?

I am using Internet Explorer and would like to know of a good way
that will clean my pc of flash cookies.

I would be grateful for any help please.

You can delete flash cookies by visiting:

    Code:
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html
    Or just download CCleaner:

When I try to use VMware Player, I get this message:Error : Vmware Player can not be installed on this computer. Vmware Player requires features that are not present on your CPU...

I will try this VirtualBox and hope that it works.
    Thanks.

The oldest version that I could find displayed the same message when I tried to
run it. Could you supply a link to an older version that should work?

    Thanks for the link Doom.

It is ready to run on my pc, but not it asks me for a serial number. A serial number was
never emailed to me, so I am wondering how to get one now. Do I need to pay for it?
