May be its taking time to get them updated. Shouldn't be a penalty. Vagex counts are not always accurate. May be you should try sending a few more and then see.

There's a YT 300 views bug that gets videos stuck at around 300 (297,306, etc.) views. Look into it. Sometimes it goes off by itself sometimes you better reupload the vid.

Apparently its a thing that youtube does to moderate what they think might be "counterfeit views" and real views
There is a video on youtube

but sadly i cant post the link too it
Video title on youtube is "Why do YouTube views freeze at 301? "

Yeah I got 0 views yesterday because none are actually counting because Youtube is doing something on their end, so your videos will go to 300 and then stick there because everything after 300 is no longer in realmtime... Thus takes a few hours to update (but it wont because of Youtube doing stuff).

Yeah YouTube gets stuck at 300 if the video got views very quickly. Not a penalty though like people said above. It should be updated in around a day.

    Never you mind.
I know your sorted now but I thought I would post a Vagex 300 views FAQ piece:

Recently, we have seen a number of threads being created daily regarding people's videos freezing at the 301 mark.

I am hopefully going to clear this up for those of you who are unsure about it.

Firstly, here is an explanation from our FAQ, which can be found in the link below:

#20. Why is my viewcount frozen?

YouTube employs proprietary technology to prevent the artificial inflation of a video's viewcount by spam bots, malware and other means. We validate views to ensure the accuracy of the viewcount of all videos beginning with the first view. This validation process becomes publicly visible when the viewcount reaches 300. At this point, the viewcount may slow or temporarily freeze until we have time to verify that all further views are legitimate. Rest assured that the views system is working as intended, and that the viewcount will update as soon as the system has verified the legitimacy of the views.

To unfreeze your video you will need about 300-400 more real views bare in mind that the views will increase once your video has been unfrozen which takes about 24-72 hours.

Everyone needs to be made aware that freezing views is a normal process. It happens to every single Youtuber, even the big Vevo company videos.

It usually takes a good few amount of views for your video to be unfrozen. And all the views that you accumulated when you were frozen are not counted. Sometimes it takes 50 more views other times 1000. It is just whatever youtube considers acceptable. Your videos are frozen so youtube can manually check that your views are legitimate and not all being clicked by you.

Did you know that you used to be able to click your own video 300 times and get 300 views? - but you were banned after they froze you to check you out. Now your views need to unique from the beginning and they still freeze you anyway. Youtube are trying everything they can to ensure each view is a " real " view.

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I feel I must inform new members that your views being frozen are nothing to do with using our service. It will just take a quick google search via Youtube forums to see that every user in the world has this issue with every video in its lifetime.

Vagex is a safe service, and will not get you a banning. ( Compared to several other competitor sites which have gotten other channels banned )

Hope I cleared this up for everyone.

    Happy Vagexing!!

Saw a video about this somewhere. YT stalls all videos at (or around) 301 until it can determine if the views are "legit."
