Are you referring to this member?
Every banned member is banned because of simple reason: he broke the rules, and bans are very often permanent.
You are here from 2010 and you clearly have no clue about the topic you started. Your thread is ......a nonsense
Go be soft somewhere where they would appreciate you more, like in a boxing ring or cage.
That person was given multiple opportunities to not get banned yet ignored all of them.
The staff member that banned that person did it with just cause.
Dude just take a minute to think about it. So you buy an 1k posts accounts and start offering advertisement. Why I as advertiser would pay you for advertising when NONE of this account activity its yours? There is no posts from you. There is no "thanks" received by you. There is no people following this account that follow YOU or your content. There is absolutely no benefit for me to pay YOU because someone in the PAST was active member of the forum.
awwwww so cute
If these people who got banned didnt get a PERMANENT BAN for their scams, what stops them from scamming agaim? lol
This is not a forum for kids. This is an IM forum where grown people should behave proffesionally.
I dont know wht you are sad !!!
If he scammed for $10000, would it be justified?
There could be many reasons why the users were banned. I myself got scammed by users in this forum which led to their accounts being banned.
No, but if I was him; and even if I was the one actually getting scammed (but proven otherwise in the shitlist) I would have just given the money to the shitlister. Why? Just to keep my reputation. It doesn't make sense to not resolve the shitlist for $100 no matter who is guilty.. If you check that shitlist, you will see that he didn't even bother replying there. That's low life, imo.
For $10K, he might not have had the money to pay back. It's still scam, but not as bad as that (well, monetorily it is 1000 times worse though.. lol)
WOW! He was a member since 2008, I hope it is not a permanent ban?
Doesn't matter if they're old or not, Forum shouldn't tolerable any scammers.
Yes of course, it's a permanent ban.
Brilliant idea! @Diamond Damien really needs to see this...could be another source of revenue to keep this awesome forum going.
As already said the reasons for the bans are probably legitimate.
Pointing out individual cases is less effective as we don't know the particular reasons for them being banned most likely, a more effective idea would have been to ask for members who haven't been banned for a heavy breach of the TOS, etc or in general just asked to be banned to return to the forum.
I am now requesting for the thread to be locked to get a taste of how it's like to be a mod.
Banning old members is always unfortunate, however if a user continues breaking the rules and cannot be moderated, we have no choice but to ban them.
Preferably, I would rather have everyone see the exact reasons every member gets banned as I'm frankly tired of all the "I was banned unfairly/incorrectly/for no reason" claims everyone loves throwing around so much after getting permanently banned.
This guy was temp banned after his 7th infraction and decided to try making another BHW account to circumvent his temp ban (which another administrator thankfully caught before he managed to), which resulted in his 8th infraction and subsequent permanent ban.
As @BassTrackerBoats stated, @futurestunner was banned for scamming someone for $100. We don't need desperate clowns like that on the forum.
@giftedwizard was banned in 2013 (2 years into being BHW member) for creating multiple accounts for the sake iTrader abuse.
Most members are given every chance in the book to continue using their account even after being permanently banned. If they come back and resume breaking the exact same rules that got them banned in the first place, then Black Hat World isn't the place for them and they should consider getting Hooked on Phonics.
