Videos on ig

Why would you do a video themed IG? I mean trying to experiment with it but I’ve noticed feeds don’t really show videos as much as IGTV dedicated ones, and videos would need 2 metrics to rank (views and likes) instead of just one.

Videos bring better engagement rate (at least for me). Most people check out the video for at least a few seconds which helps to show it at the top for most of the followers you have which can snowball in some cases (all videos must be of great quality for this to happen)
