Ok, having quite a few issues with youtube lately, just want to make sure I'm not going crazy and this is happening to others as well.

Aside from the fact that I've been getting accounts terminated and not FLAGGED I also have the problem of not being able to find my videos in youtube search unless I type in the EXACT TITLE of my video.

I put the keyword first in the title, and add the keyword multiple times in the description along with the main keyword in my tags.

I read someone else post saying they couldn't find their video in the search until about a week later. I got my hopes up and trusted that this was the case. Well now a few of the videos I uploaded are over a week old. Out of 8 of them, 3 of them pop up in the search when I type just the keyword (okay thats a good thing and happy they show up).

The 5 others do not show up at all and I checked every page. Even when I use the filter to see videos posted in the "last week" or "this month" they do not show up. However, they do show up when I type exact titles..so weird :\

It's frustrating, I'm in the gaming niche for all 8 videos and some of them are more saturated than others but the funny thing is that the NON-Saturated ones are the ones showing up in the search without typing the exact title while the saturated ones are not. Any one else dealing with this?

are they reposts of other videos? that might be your problem. if not then perhaps its due to the new algorithm that YouTube introduced. Based ON retention.

Youtube is now implementing a new kind of "penalty" (think Penguin, Panda)

I call it the "omitted" penalty. Each time they detect your video may not be 100% original or could be a copy of an already uploaded video, they just OMIT the video from their serps results.

If you type the keyword you're trying to rank for and your video doesn't appear in the first 10 pages (meaning the first 200 positions) then chances your video has been omitted.

You can confirm this by clicking in the blue box that appear at the end of the serps of the second page. Is a box that shows this message:

"Some search results have been omitted that contain duplicates. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included"

Once you have clicked this option, start searching for your video again in the first 10 pages.

If this time you find your video, then I'm sorry to say your video has been penalized with the "omitted" penalty.

I've tried EVERYTHING (adding backlinks, views, etc) to get my videos "de-omitted", but according to my experiments, once a video has receive this penalty, there's no way to recover from it.

Start with a brand new video instead.

There is a way and I am trying to figure it out I recovered 3 videos from the omitted "penalty" by changing some stuff in your video changing the description a bit or the title.
I recovered one video by changing, showing the likes of the video to don't show the likes on the video.

I am trying to figure out the exact way but it is going to take a lot of testing.

Im having the exact same issue on two videos, the problem is that they are 100% original, but they are in a new channel with just 4 videos...
Tried the omitted result thing but they are not even omitted...

Maybe you didn't optimize it for the keyword you want to rank for?

I did like everytime, nothing different and never happened to me.... dont really know what to do, maybe the anti spam filters are limiting new channels
