Try using Virtual Dub to see if it works. It's a free video editor. It has kind of a ghetto interface, but it plays avi files and converts good.

    virtualdub.org/download.html

Use it to see if the audio and video loads and plays back correctly.

What program did you use to convert the flv to avi?

You could pm me, and I'll give it a shot and try to get it done if you want.

I use TubeThunder grab and convert. I'll watermark it for you too.

Windows Movie Maker always crashes on me as soon as I open it, so I always
stick to the Virtual Dub for simple stuff.

    Let me know.

LMAO Windows Movie Maker is bullshit it's a Microsoft Software therefore it only works with WMV files. LOL

Edit: Damn darkimus, you beat me to it.

Yea I know, windows movie maker crashes too much on mine, it only gets wmv files as Darkimus said.

Virtual Dub for better compression, but overall, I use after effects.

I said "tube thunder" earlier, I meant Tube Hunter Ultra, =P

You can use any files, im sure... Just make sure you can play them through media player before you try to edit....

If they dont work, then you need to install some codecs.

Do a g--gle search for winxp/vista codec packs, install and you should be able to use all formats..
