Interesting, I realised I was shadowbanned 2 weeks ago, so I took a break from everything for 3 days, removed my hashtags and then came back and posted without any hashtags and got incredible engagement, like I was getting before I got shadowbanned (just checked and I'm still SB). I was also get double the followers per day that I'd usually get. Everything is great right, well... Three days ago, I posted a video of an animal that was being abused (my account is about wildlife conservation so rmynfollowers are passionate about this kind of stuff) and some people must have thought I was doing the abuse in the video (I was getting a couple messages saying I should burn in hell even though my caption explained it all ... stupid idiots) and they reported the video. I was getting insane engagement - 4k in views and 400 comments in an hour and my account only has 45k followers. However, because of the reporting, Instagram decided to banned/deleted/removed/(whatever you want to call it) my video and since then I haven't grown a single follower. I'm still getting big likes, views and comments but not a single follower. I've tested following my account from one I created and it worked so I'm wondering why I've gone from ~200 a day to zero? Just an FYI, I'm not botting, I only engage with comments on my posts and DMs, and I don't like other accounts' photos. Anyone had something similar happen to them or have a theory on whats happened... and possibly how to fix it?
