    Hi,

I had a Windows movie maker "visit my site to watch ...." video on Youtube for around 11 days and i made approx $40 a day on average. On sunday the video got pulled saying im infringing copyright and it cited the movie company as the people complaining. The movie had a single frame from that movie in it the rest was just black screen with writing.

I uploaded it again and BAM same thing within an hour, re-did the movie with no actual frames of the movie in it and BAM same thing again. Created a new account on a different IP and uploaded the same clean video and BAM happened again.

The only thing that is consistent is the description and tags contain the movie name, could it be that? I have other 'movie' vidoes on YT with no problem, its just this one. Unfortunately it was this movie that was making me the money.

Any ideas on what i can do to get this back up?? removing the movie name from desc and tags is obviously not an option since i need people to be able to actually find it

Do you use any sound from the movie? The audio is recognizable.

change the length of the clip as well. Add on 20 secs at the end. That may help.

Also maybe add or change music (if applicable).

It's probably the title, sorry to say. Same thing happened to me -- I changed the file size, watermarked it, etc. and the video still got deleted.

i have changed the length of the vid and it has no audio. I think Keevee is right it must be the description or tags

yeah it looks like the title/descrip/tags causing the problems. Ive have a similar problem like this.

maybe its just 1 keyword causing the problem, test each one to see which one is causing the problem.

    good luck

I have some experience with movie trailers. I kept uploading one particular trailer to different accounts and the moment it went live it was flagged for copyright infringement. When I read on this forum about reverbing the audio I fixed it and youtube did not recognize it as the same trailer although I was using the same tags.
    Hope this helps.

Just change the studio whose audience you are targeting. You're probably using something that is actively being protected right now, poke around til you find something that no one is watching in that way. ;)

this is really funny everyone seems to be moaning about audio copyrights and all, i've only ever had 1 problem with music Copyrights and they just said they'd place an advert at the side of my video and that was it that didn't remove it or anything :)

Funny thing with this copyright stuff is that copyright owners only check once in a while (at least that's my experience).

I had vids with material from owner A running for weeks and all were rejected on the same day.
Then a few weeks later all material from owner B would be rejected.

I usually wait one or two weeks before I upload this material again.
    It then sticks.
Guess when they send their scouts out again it will be banned again but by then these vids again will have made money.....:D

So what I'm saying is that no matter what you change if certain content (movie title, song title, etc.) is observed closely at that time just wait till the attention from the copyright owners drop (i.e. 1 or 2 weeks) and upload again.
