How come nobody is selling VS products?

Are their products so cheap, it's difficult to s*ell them at a decent margin?
Or is there a shortage of knockoffs from China?

I was talking more in the line of replicas / fakes. No, they don't offer any kind of affiliate nor they offer and kind of franchising. They want to do it all by themselves... :)

From what I hear, they come down hard on people selling knockoffs... they're very protective of their brand.

Actually, they hunt down people selling replica's, and even the real thing claiming it must be counterfeit.

When companies make such a huge profit margin off of that kind of stuff, they have no problem dishing out cash to protect their products and image.

Aren't you pretty safe (anonymous) with offshore domain registration and webhosting?
The problem with VS is that they only retail them in US...

I think we could all make an absolute killing selling victoria secret stuff outside of the USA. Sadly though they seem like they are not interested in expanding worldwide.

I've ran a lingerie store online and found a few problems. Some do involve the assumptions made above.

Victoria's Secret does sell at a low price and your markup will have to be fairly low.

VS has an Angel card, which most people have and can easily get. People would much rather just buy from VS and/or use the Angel card.

Woman know and love VS. Why shop online where they can't visually and physically tell if they want the garment or not? Men rarely know what they're doing when lingerie shopping and if they go into VS the women in there are more than willing and able to help them pick out something.

As stated, VS takes their brand seriously and hates people selling fakes. In the year I owned my shop I had over 50 calls, emails, and letters to take down fakes I had.

It's just a big hassle and time sink to deal in this. It wasn't worth it for me.

just a female point of view, I don't see this selling too well. Twice a year VS has their semi annual sale, which you can get pretty good discounts on their stuff. After shipping i don't really see there that being that big of a discount of the items you can buy as VS on sale, VS the rep things being sold. The only thing I see really selling, is their newer high end bras, that don't really go on sale.
