Ok so Im going to try and explain the situation and then maybe get some feedback.

I bought a domain and a Vbulletin license and activated a website. Im not quite sure if I expressed myself the correct way so I'll give you an example.
If you type in www.example1.com in your web browser you will be led to my website and it is powered by Vbulletin.

I started this website with intentions of devoting alot of time to it and watching it blossom into a good sized community. However, after about 1 or 2 weeks of work and only logging in 1 or 2 hours a day, I lost interest and pursued other projects and completely forgot about this website for about 4 months.

a couple days ago I am on google and I remember the website. I type in the keywords and BAM....Im #1 on google.

In amazement, i type in my domain name in the address bar and my site pops up...

    approx 5k post

    2k members

content ranges from canadaian viagra to porn in russia

obviously an autoblogger is being used, my wife thought i was going to be pissed but i found it to be very educational.

One question is, now that the site is established. Can I change the content and edit all the post to support my original idea that I had with the website ? without it effecting my ranking ?

Im really extremely interested in SEO but am just begining to undestand.

For some reason I want to think that if the autoblogging continues that google is going to catch on and 'yank' me for whatever reason but i am unsure that my thinking is right with that though... Since I am admin I can block all future post but will that effect my page rank ?

any feedback on this is greatly appreciated...im a noob in SEO and blogging but have tons of interest.

Feedback can include - "If I were you I would do this....."

Sorry I cant give you the web addy until i secure things...

    Thanks

thanks for the replies so far.

Yes Spam I do understand that all of the post are spam however I dont really care. They were done in such a format that I assumed that it was automatic.

The post are done just about everyday at the same time with each category. They have content and links so again I assumed it was professionally done since it climbed so quickly on the search engine.

Maybe I dont really know whats going on ?

I can prevent the spamming from happening simply by turning off the posting capability. but will it effect by PR ?

    Thanks in advance

LMAO he said he didnt want to give the address... it was an example (example1.com) :p

    Am I missing something here?
So what if he was a victim of spam. His site has reach no.1 spot on big G for HIS keywords!

I would start with buying / downloading a program to auto post on your own site to gradually move the topics back to what you originally wanted them to be. Im not sure xrummer is what you are looking for, you want to be able to create new accounts, put a load of posts and a load of follow-up replies that it will mix and match, all on the topics of your choosing.

I wouldn't worry about the spam at the moment, just make sure you are ahead of it (i.e. making more posts on your subjects). When you have got a lot of it back on track then tighten up the registration as suggested.

Maybe im wrong and someone can give better advice, but im guessing at the moment that the spam is in fact working in your favour. When it gets to the point of hindering it you should do something.

    Hi Apeman350

Is your domain name the same as the keywords you're targetting or different? Also, Xrummer is only good if you want to spam other forums, I recommend you figure out the situation with your website before doing blackhat SEO with Xrummer

don't cookie stuff, just sign up for the same affiliate networks the spammer is signed up for, and change his aff links to your own - to the same products/services.

he wouldn't be continuing to spam it, if it wasn't making him some money.

xrumer is for spamming others not yourself.. Anyway I have seen in a forum a script that would pull content-questions and answers- based on your keywords from other forums, I cant remember the price but I remember it wasn't cheap but I have seen some good reviews on it I can try to remember where I came across to script if you are interested in having it. To be honest though some flash cookie script that is what you really need if you wanna know my opinion....

It sounds like Forum Generator by Blackhatzen that you're referring to

    Code:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/buy-sell-trade/69867-forum-generator-black-hat-search-engine-optimization-cpa-tool-easy-auto-forum-generation-only-94-97-a.html
I bought it a couple of weeks ago and it's excellent... but it aint cheap :)

It's an interesting idea to combine the two - let Forum Generator create posts and let the spammers add more.... and then redirect their links every so often. I wonder if it would work?

Google probably has rated your forum as a low quality site and once you delete the spam you can log into Webmaster Tools, submit your sitemap and ask for reconsideration. This is normally done for a site that was taken out of the index (which I don't think applies here), but it will help to remove any penalty that was applied.

Mate this is a top class idea!
You should really think about doing this!

No offense mate, but did you even read his first post?
How is he rated low quality when he is is #1 place in Google for HIS keywords?

Anyway, I was browsing another forum for 'programmers' (;)) and someone posted a new forum spammer they made. The thing with this one is they added a feature to allow you to specify only 1 forum and spam multiple posts to it - which is what you were looking for.

    *EDIT*
I decided not to post it in the open forum after all because all the noobs will probably ruin it for the rest of us. It may be in the downloads already I haven't bothered to check.
Apeman, if you want the rapidshare link just drop me a pm mate :)
