what do you guys think about a .vg domain ? is it any good ? or not really ? it's an expensive domain, just wanted to know good choice or bad choice thanks in advance best regards, affigold
I don't think it is a good idea. The first reason is how many people have heard of a .vg domain? (sounds too much like vd IMO) I don't think very many people. The second reason is the cost. I think a (dot)com name is much better. lewi: they are from the British Virgin Islands.
lol... me 2 never heard of it thought maybe it would sound good it reminds me of viagra *.VG lol thanks Lewi always love your inputs on things Kindest Regards, Affigold
i guess you are right just found an amazing domain available only 4 letters on .vg but you're right no one has heard of it here in the forum or had experience with a .vg domain so i guess it's back to .com thanks bro,
http://www.google.com/trends?q=.info%2C+.vg%2C+.cc%2C+.me%2C+.tv&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all&sort=0 As you can see against other 2nd tier extensions, the prominence of dot vg is insignificant. That doesn't mean some names don't have value. ringtones.vg = good ringtoneheaven.vg = not so good value would be in high volume and marketable generics.
I don't know if godaddy is still running their special or not, but a dot com was a little over a buck. By the way, I wish I was in Miami. It is fu**ing cold here. Colder than a well diggers 4ss!
would be cool if you could find a domain that the word is split up and ends in .vg so i dunno like firstpartofword.endpart but no good really just looks kinda cool i presume .vg is like the .tv which is aimed at high earning tv companies who can afford to buy it
Thank you so much it's so good to have a top of the game advice here at the forum. Best Wishes, AffiGold
